We process your personal data exclusively in accordance with this privacy policy and the applicable legal provisions, in particular the European General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: "GDPR").
1. Collection, processing and use of personal data
When you access this website or individual files on this website, we collect, process, and store the following data: IP address, the website from which the file was accessed, the name of the file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, and a message indicating whether the access was successful (so-called web log). We use this access data exclusively in non-personalized form for the continuous improvement of our website and for statistical purposes.
The data is processed on the basis of and in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.
2. Use of cookies
dx frontier uses cookies to improve the website's display and navigation. A cookie is a text file that is sent from the web server to the browser. This file contains the URL that was visited, the date of the visit, and an expiration date that determines the cookie's lifespan. dx frontier uses cookies to determine which areas of the dx frontier website are visited most frequently and to allow users to save their personal settings so that they are available again the next time they visit the site. Statistics on website visits are compiled to help determine which areas of the dx frontier website are visited most frequently.
Visitors are informed about the use of cookies via a banner on the website.
You have the option to decide whether or not to accept cookies. You can configure your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, or you can exercise your legal right to object by disabling cookies in your browser settings.
If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use the full range of website functions.
3. Use of AI services for content creation
In our application, we use cloud-based AI services for the automated analysis and generation of content (e.g., texts, answers, recommendations). Texts you enter may be transferred to and processed on third-party servers.
Currently, we use the following providers, among others:
**OpenAI, LLC ** (USA) – https://openai.com/privacy
**Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service** – https://privacy.microsoft.com
Depending on the service used, data may be transferred to third countries (e.g., the USA). Some providers participate in the **EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework**, which ensures an adequate level of data protection. Further information can be found on the European Commission's website.
**The legal basis** for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the user experience, the efficiency of our systems, and the quality of our services. No profiling or automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR takes place.
Please do not enter sensitive personal data in free text fields. If you have any questions about data protection or how the AI works, please contact our data protection officer.
4. Google Analytics
On our website, we use Google Analytics with the extension "anonymizeIp," a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter: "Google"). This means that Google processes IP addresses within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area in a shortened form. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This prevents any personal identification. If any of the data collected about you is personally identifiable, this will be immediately anonymized and the personal data promptly deleted.
The legal basis for our use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. On our behalf, Google will use the data obtained to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The processing is for the purpose of analyzing and optimizing our website.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings, for example, by generally disabling the automatic setting of cookies. However, in this case, some functions of this website may no longer work correctly.
Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and its transmission to and processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:

You can also prevent tracking by Google Analytics by clicking the link below. This will set an opt-out cookie that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website:

The legal basis for processing the data is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. It serves to optimize our services.
5. Google Fonts
This website uses external fonts, specifically Google Fonts. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). These web fonts are integrated by means of a server request, usually to a Google server in the USA. This transmits information to the server about which areas of our website you have visited. Google also stores the IP address of the browser of the visitor's device. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy, which you can access here:

6. Contact us via email or contact form
When you contact us by email, we store the data you provide (your email address, first and last name; and, if applicable, your telephone number and address) in order to answer your questions. We delete the data collected in this context once storage is no longer necessary, or restrict its processing if there are legal retention obligations.
The same applies if you use our contact form. To contact us this way, you only need to provide your name and email address. Providing further information – such as your company, telephone number, or address – is voluntary. Data that you enter into our contact form is transmitted between your browser and our server using encryption (SSL).
This processing is based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a) of the GDPR. It serves solely to process and respond to your inquiry.
7. Data sharing
We only disclose the personal data we collect to third parties if this is justified under data protection law. Specific information regarding the scope and recipients can be found in the provisions above. Furthermore, we only disclose your personal data to other companies and individuals that we have commissioned to perform specific tasks and services on our behalf. The disclosure of your personal data to these companies is limited to what is necessary for them to perform their tasks. These companies are also bound by data protection regulations, have been carefully selected by us, and are regularly monitored by us. In addition, we only disclose your personal data to third parties if we are legally obligated to do so or if required by a court order.
8. Data security
dx frontier takes appropriate technical and organizational security measures, in accordance with current best practices, to protect data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons.
Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g., communication via email) can have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Please be aware that personal information you publish in publicly accessible areas, such as commenting on news articles, can be misused by other users.
Personal data is stored only for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Accordingly, personal data is routinely blocked or deleted when the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies or a statutory retention period expires.
9. Hyperlinks to third-party websites
Our website also contains links to third-party websites. Please note that the privacy policies of these third parties may differ from our own.
